The task at hand:

Okay,

So the task at hand is to figure out how to take videos from the camera and get them on the computer!

My mom got a new video camera when Luke and I got engaged in Mexico a few years ago... Since then a few people have borrowed it and things have been done to the videos we have had on there, Luke and I have spent close to 5 hours trying to recover our engagement video and make this camera use able again...

So here it goes...

I FOUND THE VIDEO!!!! I cannot get in to do anything but PLAY on my computer, not even save it to a different file.

BUT there are a handful of videos we CAN use! ;) and the good news is we have it, we have our engagement that moment we can never relive. we can maybe make a dvd of it but that's it for now.

So here is my TEST video! To make sure when we take a new one it is use able! We are going on vacation soon and I would love to take some videos there!

So YAY!!!!!!!! Ohh ignore the crazy lady's voice on here, wanted to make sure we had sound ;0

A KC Halloween!

After much contemplation about the upcoming weekend, I decided to be spontaneous! I am very bad at doing this and realized that if the pitter patter of little feet ever come into our lives I will not be able to just up and leave when I want.
The original plan was to surprise my good friend Ashley in KC and just show up at her door Friday, but I CANNOT keep a secret for the life of me so I ended up telling her I was coming, She was still very pleasantly surprised and excited since she didn't have weekend plans either.
We had a great time hanging out, catching up, visited my dad at a cow show, went to a bloody mary bar (over 100 different toppings!) shopped at the plaza, (I am done Christmas shopping for 3 people!!!) and we went to a fun Halloween party on Saturday night! We decided at about 8 pm we would go so we had to use our imagination to come up with some costumes...
I was the bridesmaid and Ashley was the Bride (Mrs.Wilson!) for a batchlorette party Halloween!
I had a really great time and fun weekend, Thanks Miss Ash!
With one of my new best friends, this dog was AWESOME! Dancing with Rhonda the cross dresser, this guy kept his act up the entire night!
The BRIDE and I!
The blushing Bride!
FUN times! Notice all my BLING, that made the night that much better! :)

Wordless Wednesday....

Explanation:

On the first day, God created the dog and said, "Sit all day by the door of your house and bark atanyone who comes in or walks past. For this, I will give youalife spanof twenty years."The dog said, "That's a long time to be barking. How aboutonly ten years and I'll give you back the other ten?"So God agreed......On the second day, God created the monkey and said,"Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. Forthis, I'll give you a twenty-year life span." Themonkey said, "Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's apretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten likethe dog did?"And God agreed...... Onthe third day, God created the cow and said, "You must gointo the field with the farmer all day long and suffer underthe sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer'sfamily. For this, I will give you a life span of sixtyyears."The cow said, "That's kind of a tough life you want me tolive for sixty years. How about twenty and I'll give back theother forty?"And God agreed again...... On the fourth day, God created humans and said, "Eat,sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I'll give youtwenty years."But the human said, "Only twenty years? Could you possiblygive me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten themonkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makeseighty, okay?""Okay," said God. "You asked for it."So that is why for our first twenty years, we eat, sleep, playand enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years, we slave in thesun to support our family. For the next ten years, we do monkeytricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last tenyears, we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone.

Life has now been explained to you.

Whirlwind of updates....

I have not posted anything in a while because things have been pretty crazy around the Wilson house! I thought after all of these weddings were over things would slow down and Fall would begin with the calmness of the season as usual, but things are as hectic as usual, which is fine, we are young and it keeps us on our toes. I feel closer to Luke than ever with a number of things we have been going through together... We have experienced some very hard things within the first year and a half of our marriage and for that I am grateful, It made me realize that we are stronger than I know and nothing can break us,nothing.
Well the Cards let us down again this year... We made it to the play offs but in our first series against the Dodgers we lost the first THREE games, we were especially disappointed because we had game four tickets! :( Bummer!
This weekend we are having some friends over for a makeshift late housewarming party.... more or less an excuse to get together, have a bonfire and hang out. We are really excited to see some good friends, I am making some yummy food, and just to relax with everyone!
Last year Luke and I decided we would get an ornament each year that meant something to us and something we have went thru together that year, Last year at Cabelas I found these super cute Smores ornaments, (if you know Luke and I you know we both LOVE smores, we have them as desert made in the microwave on a regular basis) The ornaments are so cute and they are all dressed up differently, well last year I got us the bride and groom one. Today my friend Leslie sent me an email and it had this picture in it. She knows me so well, it put a huge smile on my face, So I had to post!
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend, and maybe if we are all lucky it will stop raining for a couple days! I know quite a few kiddos that have been anxiously waiting to get to that pumpkin patch!

Investment Property for Sale

Hello everyone!

I wanted to spread the word that Luke and I have an investment property that we are currently looking to sell. It is a 2 family unit, that is currently filled and the monthly rent payments on it are $550 and $500. With both units filled you will start to make money right away. The electric, plumbing, water heaters, heat, and a/c have all been updated. Luke and I have paperwork that can help you with contracts, tenants, etc. It is located at Potomac 63118. We have it listed at 106,000, but this is negotiable, along with negotiating closing costs and things like that. If you or anyone you may know might be interested, please give me a call.
If you could spread the word, and forward along to your colleagues and friends, it would be much appreciated.
